Many positions running unopposed.

Assessor- Bill Spencer- Republican

Auditor- Brenda Chilton- Republican

Clerk- Josie Delvin- Republican

Coroner- William Leach- Republican Does he also perform autopsies on Democrats or Libertarians?

Sheriff- Thomas Croskey- Republican Will he publicly and boldly stand against Inslee like the previous Sheriff?

Treasurer- Kenneth Spencer- Republican

3 Positions are running with opposition, 1 of them has 3 candidates.

Prosecuting Attorney

Eric Eisinger- Republican-Eisinger made some bold, conservative statements on his website in support of the Constitution and support for law enforcement. He also came out against idiotic programs like needle sharing. Its clear he attends a Christian church (New Vintage), but stopped short of expressing anything beyond that on his website. He writes clearly on providing appropriate bail. He even states that he doesn’t want Benton County to turn into Portland or Seattle. https://www.ericforprosecutor.com/

Ryan Lukson- Republican– Most of his statements were similar to Eisinger, and he was looking like the same type of guy, though he doesn’t mention the Constitution specifically. Then, clicking on, clicking on the “Community” tab, he promotes his affiliation with the Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts (which, in their pure form, are great organizations, but currently, are woke). He also has a picture of himself wearing a mask. I know many had to put the diaper on their face for their job, but why remind us of that capitulation? The worst picture he could have placed on there was a picture of General Mattis who was as poor of an excuse for a Secretary of Defense as possible. Do your own research on Mattis, but safe to say, I wouldn’t want to be associated with him. https://www.luksonforprosecutor.com/

Go with Eisinger here. Some yellow flags on Lukson, and that’s without digging into anything about his time on the Richland City Council.

Benton-Franklin Superior Court Judge

Position 4

George Cicotte– Cicotte is endorsed by both the BC and FC GOP. He is also endorsed by Bill McKay, Mayor of Kennewick and a Christian. He is also endorsed by Brad Klippert, Jerrod Sessler, and Joe Cotta. He speaks clearly about his support for the Washington and US Constitutions. The only drawback is being on the board for United Way, which works with planned parenthood. https://www.george4superiorcourt4.com/

Norma Rodriguez– INCUMBENT-Perusing her website, endorsements seem to be the best foot she wants to put forward. When someone who endorses Dan Newhouse in a TV commercial also endorses a judge, a yellow flag goes up. Another yellow flag is being a board member of a race based group- Latino Bar Association. A third yellow flag- no mention of the Constitution on her website. So, that’s 3 yellows. In a soccer match, it only takes 2 yellow cards to get ejected. In this case, however, Rodriguez gets 3 yellows and a red- She is an Inslee appointee. Game over. https://keepjudgenorma.com/

This is a slam dunk. Cicotte thinks the Constitution is good. Rodriguez was appointed by Inslee. Rodriguez may be a good judge, but hitching your wagon to our Governor should be political death in Eastern Washington (Funny, I didn’t see her promoting her endorsement from Governor Jay)

County Commissioner

Position 2

Bill Jenkins-Republican– He’s been in public office before as a State Rep among other local offices. His position on the issues is very general “strong economy,” or “transparency.” Not much substance from his website. https://electbilljenkin.com/

Barry Bush- Republican– Bush hates windmills. Other than the cool windmills used to pump water from a well, I hate them too. In addition to being ugly and killing birds, windmills are the one of the greatest boondoggles in American history. They are supposed to stop fossil fuels from being used. Have you ever seen one of those windmill blades on a truck? Its an over-sized load, which requires at least two other vehicles to travel with it. I have witnessed the body sections transported on over-sized load trailers with three support vehicles. I wonder how much gas that takes? However, Bush has no website, so his views on the other issues are unknown.

Michael Alvarez- Republican– Alvarez is the most polished candidate in the field. He has conservative ideas and is endorsed by the BC GOP. In a unique and smart section of his website, he goes into detail as to how he saved the City of Richland a lot of money on the nearly pointless Duportail Bridge. He also claimed to have found enough money to hire 24 new firefighters and 2 new stations. It has always been a contention of mine that, through efficiency, all governments can pay for any new expenditures they need. Something Pasco should have considered when they wanted to build an aquatic center. In any event, Alvarez is light on his position on abortion. Why, you might ask, would a county commissioner need to take a position on abortion? He’s trying to be a commissioner in a county with an abortion mill on its busiest street. https://www.votemike.com/

This is a great problem to have: which conservative to vote for? Though Jenkins has experience, and Bush hates windmills, Alvarez might be able to save BC some serious cash. Vote Alvarez here.
