The reader might even sense triple irony of The Watchmen pointing out KEPR running a story about fake/biased news sites. The answer has always been: We make no apologies for out bias! KEPR and the other local media claims be be unbiased, which is likely their greatest lie. Everyone has a bias.
The biggest problem with this entire “fake news” idea is the incredible disrespect paid to readers. The implication by the Democrat Party, Big Tech, and Big Media, when they claim they are rooting out “fake new” or “misinformation” is that we cannot tell the difference. The average Joe is too stupid to be able to think for themselves. We someone claims they have to protect you from something (with a few exceptions, like the enemy armies invading the coast), they are saying you are a moron. Its the same ridiculous argument and against voter ID, and how its “racist.” That argument says non-white people are too stupid to get ID. Its about as evil/racist an argument as one can make.
